A teacher of mine played Billy Joel’s song "We didn’t start the fire", then he gave us the lyrics and we had to find on our own, information on each of the events Billy Joel mentions. Would you agree that would be a good political and historic curriculum for a History class?

Very good exercise – a lot of worthwhile information to be found. If I were a History teacher, I think I’d steal the idea.
