I’m in early college high school right now, going to be a sophmore this year, and I want to homeschool next year but I still want to do early college. I looked up some early college homeschooling programs and they require you to have all of your freshman and sophmore highschool classes completed but sense Im all ready in the early college high school program I dont have those classes completed yet. Is there a program that is more like the early college that is all ready prodiveded to the public school kids? Also I would like the credits that I have all ready completed to tranfure so I don’t have to retake any classes. Thanks!
Not that I know of, but a lot of homeschooled kids do community college courses as dual enrollment when they’re about 16 or so. Community colleges aren’t selective at all, but you might have to take a placement test to show you are at the level of their courses. In my state, any high school student can take a community college course with the approval of his her principal, which would be your parents if you were homeschooled. (I’m in a state where homeschooled students are considered privately schooled).
