I’m in 9th grade and going into 10th next year (obviously) and i wanna know all the steps to become a VET. and i wanna know when i get home schooled, can i just learn all the stuff i need to know to be a veterinarian or will i not get a scholarship from doing that? Will i be able to do that or not?? PLEASE help!!
Oh! and i also would love to know the steps to be a vet., like how long i gotta go to college for, how long it takes to get my license and how much money veterinary school cost??

In the US.

You must have a four year Bachelor degree. You can not homeschool at this level of education. You then can apply to Vet schools. There are only 28 Vet schools in the US. They are highly competitive and very difficult to get into. You must have great grades in college as an undergrad. Vet school will be another 4 years, then your specialty. large or small animals. It is much more difficult to get into a Vet school than medical school. You have a long hard road ahead.

You can go to a college with being homeschooled. You really should start going on college visits with your parent starting next year.
